The Mawson Lakes Carp fishing comp was a great success with nearly 600 registered participants. The Salisbury Council, the Game Fishing Club of SA and BCF did an awesome job. The star of the day was Deborah Drews who with minutes left in the comp landed a 6.5kg Carp to take out the women’s section, she also caught the biggest Carp overall. Sadly no one won the kids section. 4 Carp were weighed in for the men with the heaviest going 4.5,congratulations to Oliver Hastwell.
It was a great day out and the weather was perfect. I will let the pictures tell the story. There where an amazing amount of girls of all ages fishing so I think justagirl will have some awesome up and coming members
