After a year of having the dream, 3 months of planning and a couple of months of searching for the right gals Its official: Team Justagirl QLD is officially launched!! The QLD team is super excited and planning their first trip out end March when Ren is back from the Riviera Pt Lincoln Tuna Comp!!! ( Team justagirl QLD will have their own crew for this event next year)
Team justagirl is excited to welcome 4 new members, This brings the official team to 13,
Welcome to Syl Cron is a passionate fisho, she will be a great asset to the team as this girl knows how to fish how to throw a cast net 😊. Ren is definitely looking forward to fresh prawns and learning how to throw a net. 😉. Syl also manages her own family fishing page “Fish N Chicks”.
Welcome Melinda Williams, Mel is also a passionate fisho who runs a construction company with her husband. Mel gets out as often as she can and does a lot of fishing in the Bay with her family, she looking forward to being part of the team this year, and we are excited to have her.
Welcome Kerry Simpson, Kez is no stranger to Justagirl having fished with Ren a number of times off the Gold Coast chasing Marlin and Snapper. Kerry is also known as the Runaway Bay Bream whisperer, given she is one of few that has been able to catch them in the marina. Kez and Amanda (aka Turbo) will have a great time trading Bream stories 😊
Welcome Connie Jean Sawka-Schmidt. Connie has a passion for fishing and is also Club Secretary for her local Jacobs Well Fishing Club. She will be a wonderful asset to our team with her wisdom and knowledge as we increase our market branding. Connie is new to big fish fishing and it has always been something she has wanted to tick off her bucket list. While she isn’t brand new to fishing, we are delighted to have her on our team as our inaugural QLD Greenhorn .

We were all lucky to have Marlene come and have a chat to the girls about Marlin fishing, followed by some bubbles on her new baby “Brilliant Company” This boat is awesome.
