A couple of weeks ago I had a task on hand and needed to take the sea pen back to its original mooring. With justagirl being a little too large for the job Pacific Marine lent me their baby Bar Crusher the 4.90C
It did the tow job well but I couldn’t help myself and had to test it out on the way back to North Haven. There were 2 of us on board and there was plenty of room to fish, this boat has a stack of space under the Bow to store all your gear and leave the deck clutter free. It’s got the standard Bar Crusher wide gunwales and they are easy to sit on and fish. The turning circle on this boat is great turning in the same spot making it easy to get on the mark, It’s an agile little boat, Free board is great as well nice and safe for the kids. This is a nifty little entry level boat and being a Bar Crusher it will hold its value allowing for easy upgrades at a later date. It is matched up with a Honda 60 four stroke. It powered along nicely and the Honda was quick to respond, this motor is extremely quiet.
